The blaze happened yesterday at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure in Anaheim where thousands of cars are tightly packed into the vehicle park daily.

The fires that broke out at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure were extinguished about 30 minutes after they were reported, and firefighters were working to clear smoke so they could work to determine a cause, fire officials said.

At least nine vehicles were damaged in the fire, Wyatt added.

The parking structure was closed and evacuated as a result of the fire, fire officials said.

Disneyland confirmed the fire was on the second-floor of the lot.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage. Initial damage was estimated at $180,000, police said.

Madison Napoli was leaving the Mickey and Friends auto park at the time of the incident.

Four people were taken to the hospital.

Pictures from the scene showed smoke billowing out of the 10,000-space auto park as nervous crowds gathered outside, unable to return to their cars.

Five people suffered smoke inhalation in a blaze, Anaheim Police said. Visitors could not get to their cars for about three hours.

The Disney parks remained open as usual until 8 pm.
