Angelina Jolie might reprise her role as the titular character in the film, "Maleficent 2" despite his on-going divorce settlement with Brad Pitt. She's also in talks to star in an upcoming film about Catherine the Great, as well as The Spy Who Loved, a WWII espionage drama based on the 2013 novel by Clare Mulley.

And from in front of the camera to the director's chair, Jolie's next director gig, according to the same report, is a war movie called Without Blood.

After her highly publicised split from husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is back into shape and focusing on her career.

Rubbing shoulders with the Asian royalty, the actress recently attended the screening of her film First They Killed My Father in Cambodia. Angelina and her kids met the Cambodian royalty and even taste-test the cuisine in the country including scorpions and spiders.

Direction by Yimou Zhang who brought House of the Flying Daggers to the screen uses numerous ploys that made that film exciting. Additionally, the movie is very well filmed with some truly attractive shots that blend light and color extremely well.

Jolie was particularly private after her headline-making separation from Pitt last September, waiting five months to so much as comment on their break up. By picking the right interview outlets and staging the appropriate photo opportunities, Jolie illustrated during a press blitz this weekend that she is doing just fine without a publicist.

The 41-year-old actress is now on the promotional trail of her new movie, First They Killed My Father, and showed off some of her freakish culinary favourites while in Cambodia recently. My whole family have all been through a hard time. While in the South-East Asian country, the 41-year-old actress cooked up a certain "delicacy" which has jointed legs and exoskeletons.

Jolie, who has custody of her six children with Pitt, said that "we are and forever will be a family" and that having faith was how she was "coping". "My focus is my children, our children", she said. Besides, she also cited that they are still a family no matter what.
