The 29-year-old Ilyasova isn't fit for the rebuild process, but at 15 points per game on 36 percent 3-point shooting, is a solid floor-stretching pickup for the Hawks. The Hawks also owe their second rounder to the San Antonio Spurs this year, but it's protected from picks 31-55. Ilyasova, who has played for five teams over the past three seasons, including both Philadelphia and Oklahoma City this season, averaged 14.8 points and 5.9 rebounds for the Sixers while playing 27 minutes per night. They will return from the All-Star break in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, a half-game behind Toronto. It becomes the second time this season Ilyasova has been traded, as he was acquired by Philadelphia from the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 1.
In a move characteristic of the Sixers' mantra of "Trust the Process", the team acquired Splitter, who is yet to appear in a game this season, along with two future second-round draft picks.
