Williams told police at the scene that she was attempting to cross the intersection but traffic was congested, forcing her to slow down while still driving in the intersection.

The driver of the other auto said she couldn't stop in time and subsequently T-boned Venus' vehicle.

There is no evidence that Williams had been drinking or had taken any substances that might have impaired her judgement, the report said.

According to TMZ, there is no evidence Williams was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or driving distracted. Paul Rogers of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., confirmed to The New York Times.

He would not say if police were probing Williams or whether the family would be looking for compensation.
