Arsenal target 'wants out' of Lyon; increased offer expected

Alexandre Lacazette still wants to leave Lyon this summer, according to the Ligue 1 club's president Jean-Michel Aulas.

However it appears that Aulas, whilst still hoping to keep Lacazette at Lyon, has begun to consider who could replace his club's top scorer.

The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract and becomes the Ligue 1 club's fourth signing ahead of the 2017-18 season after the arrivals of Fernando Marcal, Bertrand Traore and Ferland Mendy.

The FC panel discuss the lack of love for Gareth Bale at Real Madrid and wonder if it's time for him to make a move.

The options? "It'll either be a France worldwide or a player from a very big European club".

Syrian Kurds send military reinforcements to Aleppo to impede Turkish advance
Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis suggested on June 27 that the USA may continue to arm the Kurds after the battle of Raqqa. The YPG is an ally of the United States and has provided America intelligence for airstrikes against ISIS for years.

Reports suggest Arsenal are edging closer to landing the France worldwide, but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas gave little away as Mariano was unveiled.

"I do not have anything to say about Olivier Giroud".

Aulas confirmed Lyon's interest in Giroud on Wednesday, describing him as "one of the players who might interest us", but doubted whether the player himself would be willing to leave Arsenal.

"I do not think that Alexandre Lacazette will leave this summer, ' he said, and in a further setback for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Aulas suggested Lacazette could join Atletico when their transfer ban is lifted in January, adding 'it's possible".

The former's 28 league goals last season indicate that he would go a long way towards turning around Arsenal's fortunes.
