Android 8 Oreo update for HTC 10, U11 and U Ultra confirmed

Posted August 28, 2017

We're excited to bring Android 8.0 to the HTC U11, U Ultra, & 10, beginning with U11 in Q4. Okay, using the term "cookies" may not be right when we're talking about a new Android OS but Android 8.0 as the latest dessert is nearly ready to be served. That's means if you want to be among the first to get hands on with Android Oreo, your best option is to sign up for the beta release. It does not require you to root your device. For instance, the last time when an Android update was available (last year's Android 7.0 Nougat) Samsung was one of the companies that had other priorities and it began upgrading the smartphones 5 months after Google announced the new update possibility.

These, Moens said, will include a drone flight that projects a holographic version of the Android and Oreo superhero, some Android and Oreo-branded cookie giveaways, and four short films featuring the new character. Here is the list of features if you insist on knowing them all.

Android and customizability are pretty much synonymous.

So we're basically non-stop hitting our fans with more and more exclusive titles, so there will be tons of great games to play. Microsoft announced via their support Twitter page that they are aware of the outages, and are now investigating.

Android Oreo mainly focuses on battery life, speed and security, with greater control of apps.

Google's Android 8.0 comes with some new features like "Picture-in-Picture mode", which will let users watch a YouTube video, do a video chat, etc while keeping another app open. Oreo will eventually come to U Ultra and the 10, too.

Motorola devices namely Moto Z, Moto Z-Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z2 (2017), Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z2 Play (2017), Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G4 Play, Moto G5S, Moto G5S Plus and Moto M are expected to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update according to reports.
